Key Responsibilities:

Diligently deliver training and technical support to farmers on agriculture management.

Lead the development of crop planning strategies and integrated pest management programs.

Promote organic input usage, ensuring compliance with certification standards.

Enhance post-harvest handling processes in line with organic standards.

Create and disseminate training materials, manuals, and demonstration models to improve farming practices.

Conduct regular farm visits to assess compliance, provide coaching, and gather feedback from farmers.

Foster collaboration with certification bodies, inspectors, and internal teams to maintain organic traceability and documentation.

Maintain detailed agronomic records and reports for audits, impact assessments, and continuous improvement.

Stay updated on organic farming developments, certification standards, and sustainable agriculture technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a related field is essential.

A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in sustainable and/or organic agriculture is required.

Familiarity with organic certification standards and protocols is necessary.

Experience working directly with farmers, particularly in rural or community-based settings, is beneficial.

Strong communication and training skills, along with the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical guidance, are crucial.

Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools is desirable.

Able to travel regularly to field locations.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in organic internal control systems (ICS) or organic auditing would be advantageous.

Knowledge of regenerative agriculture practices is a plus.

Multilingual abilities relevant to local farming communities could be an asset.

This role involves frequent travel.
