Job Summary

This role focuses on delivering actionable analytics solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The Senior Data Analytics Analyst will play a key role in bespoke report building, dashboard development, and advanced data analysis using cutting-edge technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Python, SQL, and R.

Experience in data science is highly advantageous, including the application of machine learning and predictive modelling to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analytics Solutions
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to support informed decision-making.
Data Pipelines and Queries
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and queries using SQL and Python.
Machine Learning
  • Apply data science techniques such as predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression to solve intricate business problems and uncover actionable insights.
  • Perform feature engineering and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for machine learning workflows.
Model Deployment and Monitoring
  • Build, validate, and tune machine learning models using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
  • Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance over time, ensuring they deliver consistent value.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven problems and communicate findings in a clear, concise manner.
  • Use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making.
Process Management
  • Document data science workflows and maintain reproducibility of experiments and models.
  • Support the Data Analytics Manager in delivering analytics projects and mentoring junior analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Technical Expertise
  • Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue.
Professional Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty
