Product Manager with Data Engineering Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to spearhead data engineering initiatives. This role involves developing and managing data products across the enterprise, leveraging Snowflake as our core platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategy, backlog, and roadmap for data platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Partner with architects and developers to design scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Advise on offshore delivery, ensuring alignment with US-based business stakeholders.
  • Define and track key performance metrics for data platform products.
  • Promote adoption and usability of Snowflake-based solutions.
  • Support delivery teams in Agile/Scrum environments, facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Owner in data-focused projects.
  • Detailed understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline design.
  • Expertise in working with cloud-based data platforms; Snowflake is essential.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and quality standards.
  • Prior experience in building and launching data platform capabilities or products.
  • Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in distributed team settings.
  • Experience working in hybrid or offshore delivery models.
