Backend Technical Director Job Opportunity

This senior backend engineering position is a high-visibility role responsible for spearheading the technical direction of our backend systems.

In this capacity, you will lead engineering initiatives, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions that meet business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot technology stacks.
  • Achieve technical excellence through architecting and implementing scalable microservices and API designs.
  • Mentor engineers in adopting best practices in backend development and system architecture to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Closely work with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals and vision.
  • Promote continuous improvement by driving initiatives in CI/CD, performance optimization, and system reliability.
  • Guide code reviews to maintain exceptional engineering standards.
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of experience in backend development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Java, Spring Boot, API design, and microservices architectures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills and strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a cross-functional team. Experience with Docker, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CI/CD, and AI/ML integration is highly desirable.
