Senior Java AWS Developer

 

  • Job Overview:
  • The role of the Senior Java AWS Developer is to lead the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems using Java and AWS technologies.
  • As a senior developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying complex systems that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, S3, and RDS, is essential for this role.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS in AWS) is also required.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating microservices using API Gateway and other integration patterns is necessary.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS), and asynchronous communication patterns in microservices is also required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline, is necessary.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with automation, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and deployment strategies is required.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring solutions is also necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills to ensure high performance and reliability of deployed microservices are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams are necessary.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a collaborative team-oriented environment is also required.

 

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 3+ years of experience in leading teams and designing solutions using microservices architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Java frameworks, especially Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for building scalable microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with rewriting MuleSoft services and agents into Java-based microservices.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating microservices using API Gateway and other integration patterns.
  • Strong experience in creating and maintaining complex software systems using Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
