Global Benefits Programs Specialist Role

Job Summary

The Global Benefits Programs Specialist plays a key role in supporting the design, implementation and administration of global benefits programs. This includes analyzing benefits data, managing vendor relationships and ensuring seamless delivery of benefits to employees.

This specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to provide detailed analysis and support for benefits inquiries and education.

  • Develops and implements global benefits programs aligned with the overall benefits strategy.
  • Analyses benefits data and metrics to provide insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement of benefits offerings.
  • Prepares reports to highlight trends, program effectiveness and areas for potential enhancement.
  • Serves as a point of contact to external vendors and supports negotiations during renewals and contract changes.
  • Provides direct support to employees regarding their benefits options, handling inquiries, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
  • Provides training or guidance to employees on new benefits offerings, ensuring that teams are equipped to support employees.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes, working with vendors to update plan details and communicating changes to employees.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in EMEA benefits administration and management.
  • Proven track record of designing and managing complex benefits programs.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organization benefits administration and management (1000+ employees).
  • Experience with HCM platforms is strongly preferred.

Additionally, you should have strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret and analyse benefits data and proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate favourable contracts.
