Job Overview:

The role of Principal Officer is a critical position in the insurance industry. It requires a leader who can oversee all activities of the Corporate Agent/Insurance Broker, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory guidelines.

This includes supervising and monitoring employee performance, training staff on insurance products, filing applications for removal or addition of personnel, and submitting regulatory returns and material disclosures to the relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely resolution of customer grievances within 14 days.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for inspections and other compliance-related matters with regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for leadership, communication, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any stream (or MBA/professional qualifications preferred).
  • Certification from recognized professional bodies.
  • 50 hours of training followed by a prescribed exam.
