Purchase Executive Job Description

This role involves analyzing market scenarios and customer schedules to assess current and future raw material requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing all types of maintenance-related materials, including electrical, mechanical, electronic, and consumable goods, as required by the pharma packaging plant.

  • Responsible for purchasing all types of consumable-related items such as housekeeping supplies, stationery, printer ink, make-up wash, and spare parts.
  • Responsible for purchasing quality control (QC) chemicals, glassware, columns, instruments, and other equipment.
  • C Coordinate between suppliers and users to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders. They will also prepare price trend charts and comparative statements to facilitate decision-making.

In this role, you will be responsible for all types of purchase-related activities, including procurement planning, logistics management, and follow-up. You will work closely with suppliers and transporters to ensure timely material availability and monitor supplier performance to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.

You will coordinate with the finance department for vendor payments and address taxation-related queries. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $15,000 - $30,000 per month.
