Our team provides multidisciplinary support to empower individuals with unique abilities, including physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

We seek a skilled Speech Therapist to collaborate with learners with multiple disabilities, developing Individualised Therapy Plans tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' communication abilities using standardised tests and evaluations.
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
  • Work closely with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.
  • Use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools when appropriate.
  • Educate staff on communication strategies and support techniques.
  • Participate in case conferences and professional development activities.
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with all policies and regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and Tamil required.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and instructional strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good organisational and documentation skills.
