Student Mental Health Professional

 You are a passionate mental health professional seeking a role where you can positively impact students' lives.

  • Provide overnight support to students in need, working closely with the university's student wellness team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct counseling sessions in student residences, fostering a safe and supportive environment for students to share their concerns.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage appointments through a secure online portal, ensuring seamless communication between students, staff, and faculty.
  • Participate in regular floor walks with Wellness Champions to increase visibility, accessibility, and trust among students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case notes, records, and reports, adhering to strict ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop awareness campaigns, workshops, and well-being initiatives across campus, promoting a culture of openness and empathy.

 

  • Hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
  • Have experience working with youth/academic mental health or a strong interest in pursuing this field.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with students in an empathetic and approachable manner.
  • Be flexible and comfortable working varied hours, including night shifts.
  • Fluently speak English and Hindi, with knowledge of Bengali being advantageous.
  • Willingness to reside on campus is essential.
