Network Architect SME for Switching LAN Technology

Overview of the Role

The role of Network Architect SME for Switching LAN Technology involves designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance switching networks.

This is a challenging position that requires strong technical skills, business acumen and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise to internal stakeholders on network architecture, design, implementation and maintenance.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that meet the organization's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching and security.

They should also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will also have at least 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.

Additionally, they should have a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex IP-based LAN/WAN network infrastructure and ensure its need for security, stability and effective use of technology.
  • Support and implement advanced network features and technologies such as MPLS and MAN networks.
  • Interact with carriers when implementing, designing and troubleshooting MPLS and MAN networks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
  • Experience with MPLS and MAN network implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:
