Job Description

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Staff Accountant to play a vital role in our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly statements, including bank, merchant, and credit card reconciliations.

This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless execution of accounting functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy and completeness of bank statements by performing thorough reconciliations.
  • Merchant Fee Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile and post merchant fee statements in a timely manner.
  • Document Management: File and record documents and receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader to ensure smooth operation of the accounting department.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant: Mandatory certification demonstrating expertise in accounting principles and practices.
  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Field: Preferred if additional to CA qualification, highlighting advanced knowledge in accounting and business disciplines.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification: Basic educational requirement ensuring foundational knowledge in numeracy and literacy.
Essential Skills

The successful candidate will require the following essential skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs: Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications.
  • Strong Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles: Proven comprehension of fundamental accounting concepts and practices.
Working Hours

Remote working hours aligned with USA time zones (Night Shift according to IST timing).
