ATE Test Development Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ATE Test Development Engineer to join our team for a project focused on migrating automated test equipment (ATE) test programs. The successful candidate will have strong experience in semiconductor test engineering and practices, proficiency in C++/C#, and a solid understanding of test program development and debugging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and migrate full test programs from source platforms to the target NI STS platform.
  • Rewrite test methods and adapt test flows for the new NI STS environment.
  • Utilize C# as the primary programming language for new test programs.
  • Analyze and adapt existing source code written in C++ and other languages.
  • Perform statistical data analysis using tools to ensure proper test program correlation.
  • Work with various device types, including op-amps, converters, and complex System-on-Chips (SOCs).
  • Collaborate remotely with team members and maintain communication regarding project progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • With minimum 4-7 years of industry experience in IC Test, or equivalent field.
  • Strong experience in semiconductor test engineering and practices.
  • Proficiency in C++/C# is essential.
  • Solid understanding of test program development and debugging.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis for test correlation (e.g., SPCM, CPK).
  • Familiarity with test instrumentation and the ability to work with various hardware platforms.
