Aquaculture Field Operations Lead

Job Overview

Fish Welfare Initiative is seeking a highly skilled Aquaculture Field Operations Lead to oversee the implementation of field operations, manage Program Associates, and maintain strong relationships with farmers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of 3+ Program Associates, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Implement Alliance for Responsible Aquaculture (ARA) protocols and experiments in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain effective relationships with ARA farmers, collecting stocking, harvest, and other farm information as needed.
  • Lead the enrollment process for new farms in the ARA, providing strategic input during meetings with FWI leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in managing field programs.
  • Excellent communication skills in Telugu and English.
  • The ability to drive a motorbike or scooter on rural roads.
