Lead Quality Assurance Specialist Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to spearhead our QA efforts. As Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for defining quality standards and best practices, designing and implementing test automation strategies, establishing and maintaining QA processes across multiple platforms, and collaborating with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development.

In this role, you will mentor junior QA engineers and help grow the QA function. You will also drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes, manage test environments, and coordinate testing activities across platforms. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed test documentation and reporting.

  • Mentor junior QA engineers and help develop the QA team
  • Develop and implement automated testing solutions for regression and performance testing
  • Create and maintain quality processes across web, mobile, backend, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality integration throughout the development lifecycle
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes

Bonus points for experience with infrastructure testing (Kubernetes, Docker), mobile automation testing expertise, familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, load and stress testing experience, knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, experience with test management tools, understanding of security testing practices, database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and cloud platform experience.
