About our Investment Leadership Position

We are seeking a top-tier professional to lead our investment strategy, oversee research and portfolio construction, and develop a high-performing team across our platforms.

This is a leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, offering clear visibility towards long-term performance and culture.

Key Objectives

  • Define Investment Approach: Develop and lead the firm's overall investment approach, asset allocation framework, and sectoral strategy.
  • Deliver Long-Term Performance: Achieve risk-adjusted returns over multiple cycles.
  • Align Investment Process: Ensure alignment with long-term client objectives and the firm's value system.

Portfolio Management Responsibilities

  • Lead Portfolio Management: Oversee flagship portfolios with significant assets under management.
  • Oversee Asset Selection: Lead asset selection, position sizing, entry/exit timing, and liquidity management.
  • Risk Management: Monitor macro & micro risks; implement hedging or tactical asset allocation if required.

Research Oversight Responsibilities

  • Deep Fundamental Research: Institutionalize deep fundamental research across sectors, themes, and capital cycles.
  • Lead Investment Team: Lead and mentor a high-performing investment team including sector analysts and portfolio managers.
  • Promote Original Thinking: Promote original thinking, deep diligence, and thesis-driven investing.

Team Development & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Attract Talent: Attract, develop, and retain top investment talent.
  • Foster Culture: Foster a culture of intellectual integrity, curiosity, and performance ownership.
  • Build Succession Capabilities: Build succession and scaling capabilities for future growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 18+ years of experience in public markets investing, preferably leading large-scale portfolios.
  • Ability to Manage: Proven ability to manage and deliver performance on significant assets under management.
  • Investment Judgment: Deep sectoral and macro understanding; strong investment judgment.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong team-building and leadership experience (managing analysts/PMs).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Professional Qualifications: CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or other relevant qualifications preferred.
