Project Manager - Skid Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Skid operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly with Skids and Process Modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to achieve customer satisfaction of 90% or more.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fabrication practices, ASME standards, IBR codes, and EN codes.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to schedule and manage Skid modules efficiently.
  • Organize resources for projects, production, planning, and maintenance activities.
  • Establish objectives, standards, and production schedules with cost and delivery effectiveness.
  • Negotiate change orders and realize milestone payments.
  • Ensure on-time delivery to avoid late deliveries.
  • Manage real-time projects from start to finish.
  • Oversee commercial aspects, contract conditions, and material requirements planning (MRP).
  • Mitigate material risks and implement best inventory practices.
  • Collaborate with design, projects, purchase, vendors, and shop production planning teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in vendor development and selection.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective strategies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15-20 years of experience in project management, particularly with Skids and Process Modules.
  • Exposure to Static Equipment, Boiler Pressure Parts, and Spools is an added advantage.

Competencies

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers (MS Office) and commercial/contractual terms.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASME, IBR, EN Codes, Prime Vera, MS Project, and EPCs/EIL/Process Licensors' specifications and standards.
