Expert Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer

We seek an exceptional expert to lead the development of complex analog and digital hardware systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing high-performance mixed-signal circuits for defence-grade electronics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PCB design tools and simulation platforms, as well as a solid foundation in analog/mixed-signal design principles and system-level integration. Experience with SPICE tools for analog simulations and knowledge of DFM, DFT, and advanced packaging technologies are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, op-amps, buffers, and switching elements.
  • Develop and verify high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR3/4, AXI, JESD204B/C, and USB/Ethernet/HDMI.
  • Integrate embedded processors and associated circuitry.
  • Lead firmware integration and oversee embedded development using microcontrollers in C/C++.
  • Manage complete PCB design cycle using tools like Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD.
  • Perform Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulations and troubleshoot high-speed digital designs.
  • Drive prototypes bring-up, debugging, and hardware validation.
  • Collaborate with software, FPGA, and mechanical design teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Participate in RTL/FPGA design and integration workflows using Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
  • Lead design reviews, guide junior engineers, and ensure technical documentation and compliance standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Microelectronics.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Strong expertise in PCB design tools and simulation platforms.
  • Solid foundation in analog/mixed-signal design principles and system-level integration.
  • Ability to generate block-level specs and verify performance across power, timing, and area constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SoC architecture and hands-on RTL coding for FPGA-based systems.
  • Deep knowledge of PHY-level analog design.
  • Hands-on lab experience in mixed-signal system validation and bring-up.
  • Participation in defining and refining design methodologies and workflows.
