Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Loan Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of disbursement targets with minimal delinquency. They will identify Joint Liability Groups and disburse loans to suit target customers and geographies, enabling business growth by developing and managing a team across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.

Key responsibilities include assessing potential client bases and product acceptability in new regions, areas, and opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas. The Loan Officer will also manage disbursement, repayment, and delinquency, achieving daily/weekly collections targets.

The ideal candidate will undertake regular field visits, Centre Meetings, and loan applicants, maintaining portfolio quality by tracking and controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, and Frauds. Strong client relationships both internally and externally are essential, along with building a strong brand identification with potential customers. Weekly/daily meetings and visits to centres are crucial.

Preferred qualifications include 0-5 years of experience as a sales officer in microfinance business, with a basic understanding of Microfinance business and JLG model working.
