Job Title

AI Ethicist Job Description

  • Develop and implement AI/ML systems to ensure responsible AI development and deployment across the enterprise.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of AI models for bias, fairness, explainability, and robustness.
  • Operationalize and enforce RAI principles based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, legal, compliance, and product teams to ensure ethical AI lifecycle checkpoints.
  • Evaluate model behavior variability and risk exposure across different cloud providers.
  • Leverage LLM-specific eval frameworks to assess model performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop tools for model explainability, fairness, and privacy.
  • Deliver detailed evaluation reports, risk scores, and mitigation recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure AI/ML systems deployed across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments meet data residency, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Produce model cards, system cards, and impact assessments to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • A strong background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and programming languages such as Python.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for responsible AI development and deployment.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
