Job Title: Commercial Banking Expertise Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Banking domain expert to join our team. This individual will act as a strategic advisor, providing in-depth insights and process consulting expertise across commercial banking operations.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the banking delivery function, with expertise in areas such as maturities, platforms, geographical requirements, and client support systems.

This role involves translating complex banking processes into actionable business requirements, creating impactful presentations and capability decks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a BPS function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree in management, or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, Gen AI, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.
Desired Attributes:
  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
  • Global exposure (UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices).
