Visual Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of visually appealing designs that effectively communicate messages to diverse audiences.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign and Event Materials

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing campaign materials, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage, as well as infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that communicate complex ideas clearly.

  • Digital and Social Media Content

They will also create dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages, as well as assist in maintaining and updating the organization's website with new visual content.

  • Photography and Videography

This role involves capturing and editing photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library, working with external photographers and videographers as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
  3. Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
  4. Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant tools.
  5. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in motion graphics or video editing.
  • Familiarity with urban mobility, road safety, or public health campaigns.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative and impactful design work.
