Release Management Lead for SAP S/4HANA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Release Management Lead to oversee the deployment and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA systems. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of new releases and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage release schedules to align with project timelines and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare, validate, and deploy releases.
  • Oversee the deployment of SAP S/4HANA releases, ensuring changes are safely migrated into the production environment.
  • Support and maintain the SAP system landscape, including installation, maintenance, and housekeeping of SAP Solution Manager.
  • Monitor system performance and address issues promptly.
  • Implement and manage release management processes for SAP configuration and code through all production and project environments.
  • Ensure adherence to change management processes and continuous improvement practices.
  • Coordinate testing activities to validate release readiness.
  • Finalize cutover plans with detailed runbooks.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP technical architecture, including landscape, environment, and transport orders.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of experience in SAP release management or related roles, with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, or a related field.
