Regional Portfolio Manager Collections Job Summary

This is a challenging leadership role where you will be responsible for leading and managing a regional collections team across various product portfolios.

The team will be focused on driving recovery in skip, NIP, and legal cases. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and monitoring team members, ensuring timely debt collection report submission, maintaining compliance and accurate documentation, coordinating with legal, operations, and external agencies, and achieving recovery targets while improving portfolio quality.

You should have strong leadership and recovery skills, knowledge of collections laws, MIS, and legal process.

  • Recruit, Train, and Monitor Team Members: Build and lead a high-performing collections team, ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles, and monitor performance closely.
  • Drive Recovery in Skip, NIP, and Legal Cases: Implement effective strategies to drive recovery in complex cases, work closely with legal and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Ensure Timely Debt Collection Report Submission: Oversee the submission of timely and accurate debt collection reports, both individually and as a team.
  • Maintain Compliance and Accurate Documentation: Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, compliant, and accurately reflects the status of collections cases.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Operations, and External Agencies: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to resolve complex collections issues.
  • Achieve Recovery Targets and Improve Portfolio Quality: Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio quality, achieve targeted recoveries, and meet business objectives.
