Sr. Technical Architect - Enterprise Solutions

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for designing and implementing technical architectures that support long-term business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Architecture: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide technical architecture standards, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish governance frameworks, design principles, and coding standards for the platform, overseeing architecture reviews and change control processes.
  • Integration & Interoperability: Lead the integration of the proposed platform with other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide deep technical guidance and mentorship to teams in designing high-quality solutions.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Stay up-to-date with latest releases and features, evaluating new platform functionalities and third-party modules.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT executives, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Work Experience: ~10+ years of experience in IT, including several years in an architecture leadership role, at least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience architecting ServiceNow implementations at scale, designing platform architecture, data models, integrations, and customizations.
  • ITSM/Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL frameworks, experience aligning ServiceNow processes with ITIL best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of enterprise technology stacks and architecture principles, familiarity with web technologies and integration methods relevant to ServiceNow.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in a relevant field or MBA, especially with a focus on Information Systems or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with enterprise architecture methodologies and how ServiceNow aligns within those frameworks.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience implementing ServiceNow in multiple industries or large/global environments, demonstrating the platform's adaptability to various use cases.
