Job Opportunity: System Engineer

This role is ideal for a skilled professional seeking to leverage their operating system administration expertise in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer who can handle the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale Unix server infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting complex systems, as well as ensuring high levels of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Unix server infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot complex systems
  • Ensure high levels of security and performance
  • Migrate business application servers to new environments
  • Perform performance tuning, clustering, and failover management
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all technical aspects of the project
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Unix server administration
  • Excellent knowledge of operating system administration, including Linux, Red Hat Linux 7/8/9
  • Experience with VMware platform, scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python), and Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management
  • Incident management and change management experience
  • Proficiency in ITIL framework
