Enterprise Data Strategy and Architecture Lead

Job Description

We seek a seasoned expert to spearhead our enterprise data strategy, drive architecture and implementation on SAP Datasphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling and cloud data warehousing, with extensive experience in leading migration and transformation programs.

  • Develop end-to-end solution architectures for SAP Datasphere implementation and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Lead the migration strategy from SAP BW/4HANA and legacy warehouses to Datasphere.
  • Design and implement enterprise data models, semantic layers and harmonized data views.
  • Define and enforce data governance, security and compliance within Datasphere.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define a scalable data roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Integrate Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud and 3rd party sources.
  • Optimize performance, implement best practices and reusable frameworks for data pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 12+ years of experience in data warehousing, data integration and analytics.
  • Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere or early adopters with strong BW/4HANA to Datasphere migration experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling, SQL and data architecture.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale data strategy and transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP services, APIs and cloud integration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
