As a key player in our organization, you will work closely with senior developers to design, test, plan, protect, and implement databases.

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing database performance, ensuring high availability, and implementing disaster recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize database locking, process blocking, and performance
  • Create and maintain a robust database architecture that ensures high availability and disaster recovery
  • Develop and deploy monitoring and metrics tooling to track database performance
  • Preventative infrastructure management to mitigate potential issues
  • Support the development and deployment of new database objects and changes to existing ones
  • Design, develop, and maintain relational database reports using SSRS

Requirements:

  • Advanced understanding of relational database architecture, specifically MSSQL
  • Knowledge of SSMS, SSRS, and support tooling
  • Expertise in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and day-to-day DB functions
  • Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design
  • Experience with Always on High Availability Groups is a plus
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and break down complex problems
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers
  • Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback
