Our organization is seeking a skilled QA professional to contribute to the development of large-scale data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and test ETL processes for data accuracy, consistency, and throughput in event-driven systems.
  • Validate data flow between Kafka/Redpanda pipelines, including producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, and Avro/JSON formats.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, defect reports, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong focus on ETL testing.
  • Familiarity with software industry process methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka/Redpanda, Git, CI/CD, and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding of throughput, consistency, and defect tracking concepts.
Nice to Have
  • Scripting skills in Python or Java for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Flink/Spark or other streaming frameworks.
