Talend ETL Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Talend ETL Developer with expertise in Talend Open Studio for an immediate contractual position.

**Job Overview:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing complex ETL pipelines, debugging, and deployment using TMC.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Talend Data Integration
  • Optimizing and troubleshooting ETL processes
  • Deploying ETL solutions using TMC
  • Maintaining and updating ETL workflows

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Talend Data Integration: Design & optimize complex ETL pipelines, debugging, and deployment using TMC
  • BigQuery: Partitioning, clustering, federated queries, advanced SQL (CTEs, arrays, window functions)
  • Python: ETL scripting, automation, and integration with cloud data pipelines
  • PostgreSQL: PL/pgSQL functions, triggers, query optimization, materialized views
  • Cloud (GCP): Hands-on experience with Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Google Cloud Storage
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Git/GitHub workflows with branching, PR reviews, and CI/CD using Jenkins
