Finance Operations Manager Job Description

We seek a results-driven finance professional to oversee end-to-end financial operations and ensure data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership with timely insights for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize cash flow management and working capital utilization.
  • Monitor shipments, revenue recognition, and cost allocations to ensure accurate profitability tracking.
  • Ensure correct data recording in the books of accounts, aligning with business and statutory requirements.
  • Implement robust internal controls and audit mechanisms to safeguard against data manipulation.
MIS & Profitability Analysis:
  • Develop and present comprehensive MIS dashboards and reports on shipments, collections, profitability, and cost structures.
  • Drive profitability analysis at shipment, vertical, and entity level, highlighting key variances vs budgets/forecasts.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on margin improvement, shipment performance, and cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting across all MIS functions.
Accounting & Compliance:
  • Drive accounting discipline across invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting standards.
  • Partner with auditors and internal teams for transparent, manipulation-free reporting.
  • Liaise with Sales, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure visibility of shipments, receivables, and obligations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience is required.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in finance operations, MIS, and profitability tracking, preferably in logistics/supply chain-intensive industries.

The ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights is crucial for this role.
