Expert Design Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating/updating components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and update components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.
  • Prepare part/assembly drawings as per standard requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and optimization activities.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Masters' degree is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with sheet metals, machined parts, and plastics.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack up.
  • Familiarity with Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Knowledge of design lifecycle management tools such as Windchill/PLM.
