We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Director to oversee the setup and smooth functioning of kitchens across multiple locations for Zolo. Based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchens operate efficiently and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Setup:
  1. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations to ensure seamless execution.
  2. Coordinate with vendors for procurement of equipment and resources to support kitchen setup.
  3. Plan and execute the setup of new kitchens, ensuring they are equipped and staffed to operate smoothly.
Inventory Planning and Cost Management:
  1. Maintain inventory levels and establish a system for tracking usage and restocking to avoid wastage or shortages.
  2. Determine cost-efficient procurement strategies without compromising quality to ensure optimal profitability.
  3. Plan and manage inventory to meet customer demands while minimizing waste and excess stock.
Menu Development and Pricing:
  1. Design menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, considering customer preferences, nutritional value, and market trends.
  2. Determine menu pricing based on cost analysis, portion control, and market research to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  3. Plan and budget menus for special events such as gala dinners, striking a balance between quality and affordability.
Operational Management:
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
  2. Maintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standards as per regulatory guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
  3. Cultivate a proactive approach to addressing challenges such as staff shortages, supply chain disruptions, or quality concerns.
Staff Management:
  1. Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence and promote a positive work environment.
  2. Foster open communication and collaboration among team members to drive success and growth.
