About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) engineer with expertise in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. You will be responsible for contributing to methodology development, technical documentation, optimization studies, and cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on 1D and 1D-3D co-simulation frameworks for Human Thermal Comfort, HVAC systems, Hybrid & Battery Electric Vehicles (HEVs & BEVs), powertrain integration, battery modeling, battery pack sizing, vehicle energy management, and drive cycle simulation.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Heat Transfer.
  • In-depth understanding of automotive systems and components and their functioning.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a pro-active approach.
  • Strong technical competence with demonstrated experience in methodology development and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with optimization and DoE methods.
  • Co-simulation experience in 1D or 1D-3D framework and familiarity with Human Thermal Comfort, HVAC, HEVs, and BEVs (Powertrain Integration, Battery Modelling, Battery pack sizing, Vehicle Energy Management).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
  • 3 -8 Years of experience.
