About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems.

  • Job Title: Software Development Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • To utilize technical and analytical skills to resolve critical customer/field technical escalations from various teams.
  • To collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • To participate in daily meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalations and their statuses.
  • To own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • To build tools and techniques to aid in Root Cause Analysis using available data and code base information.
  • To minimize time to resolve product issues by fixing them after RCA.
  • To provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • To work with Product management to identify and implement backlog requirements that add value to the product.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical product support roles, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience working as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Proficiency in software development using Java technologies.
  • A good understanding and experience with MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Knowledge of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Possession of passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks.
  • Strong analytical and scripting skills.
