Cloud Application Administrator Job Description

Job Title:

As a Cloud Application Administrator, you will be responsible for leading the deployment and configuration of Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and OTM systems. This role involves effectively managing key applications such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & EPM, and OTM throughout their implementation and support lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application metadata, including provisioning configurations, enterprise applications, domains, and application components.
  2. Design, update, and implement user security and roles within Oracle Fusion Cloud Security.
  3. Perform system/service maintenance tasks, backup, and recovery of Oracle Fusion Applications.
  4. Monitor performance and architecture of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM applications, and maintain reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
  5. Develop ERP KPIs and Metrics Reports and Dashboards to view and monitor service details and notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
  6. Work with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
  7. Assist technical team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud instance configurations and enterprise applications.
  8. Design and implement best practices to administer and improve the reliability and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & EPM.
  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for all issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, EPM & OTM).
  10. Partner with Security, Network, Development, and Product Teams to identify issues and drive issue resolution.
  11. Document system requirements and process flows.
  12. Design and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
  2. 8+ years of overall ERP administration experience.
  3. 3+ years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications ERP, EPM & OTM.
  4. Experience in at least one implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP) is necessary.
  5. Mandatory working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  6. Experience leading full Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation projects involving Requirements, Design, Testing, and Roll-out.
  7. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion data dictionary and relationships between various objects to quickly understand requirements and design solutions.
  8. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or similar certifications related to Oracle Fusion Cloud are preferred.
  9. Deep understanding of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies, and Application Server Life Cycle Management.
  10. Exceptional English communication skills with all levels of an organization (written, verbal, digital, formal presentations) are essential.
  11. Desire to teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise.
  12. Advanced skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are necessary.
  13. Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
