">Land Acquisition Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled land acquisition manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition and management, with a total of 7-12 years of experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage land acquisition processes across multiple sites, coordinating with regional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for private land acquisition, government land allotment, forest land acquisition, and private land acquisition via LARR.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to resolve land issues at multiple sites, including litigation regarding title, encroachments, ceiling limit exemptions, and NA.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports to showcase acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including land aggregators, regional land teams, business development teams, legal teams, project teams, and finance teams, to manage land acquisition progress and land issues resolution.
  • Support regional teams in mutation, collecting original sale deeds, coordinating with finance teams for fund release, and CAPEX budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor acquisition progress and provide support in resolving land issues.
  • Coordinate with land aggregators and regional land teams for private land acquisition according to business requirements.
  • Report directly to the Head of Land Acquisition for Cement Business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of land laws and revenue documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of Google Earth and KMZ.
