Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of miners, machine operators, engineers, and other staff members
  • Allocate tasks to ensure smooth and coordinated work operations
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to the team members
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment used in mining operations
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure safe operating conditions
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all workers
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international mining laws and environmental regulations
  • Develop and manage the budget for mining operations
  • Optimize resource allocation, including raw materials, equipment, and labor
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, equipment usage, safety incidents, and other key performance metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
  • Minimum of (5-10) years of experience in block mining operations management
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale mining projects and leading diverse teams
  • Thorough knowledge of mining regulations and environmental compliance standards

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
