Senior Data Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science team and unlock valuable insights from raw data.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to solve complex problems, a knack for statistical analysis, and the capacity to align data products with business goals.

About the Role:

  • Manage the data science team, plan projects, and develop analytics models.
  • Enhance AI services by maximizing the value of client data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, develop, and implement appropriate statistical techniques, algorithms, and deep learning/ML models to create scalable solutions addressing business challenges.
  2. Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities.
  3. Communicate findings to relevant teams through visualizations.
  4. Collaborate and communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
  5. Provide solutions for tasks including object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation & targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, response to incentives, marketing mix optimization, price optimization.
  6. Build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  7. Foster an agile methodology for delivering project milestones.
  8. Possess excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  9. Apply statistical ideas and methods to data sets to answer business questions.
  10. Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in math, computer science, information systems, machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or related technical degree.
  • 6+ years of total experience with a minimum of 3 years in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various business problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, C, C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Able to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.
