Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency of data across shipments, profitability, and actuals.
This role demands strong expertise in management information systems (MIS), accounting, and financial data governance to provide leadership with real-time insights for informed decision-making.
- Oversee and optimize cash flow management and working capital utilization to drive business growth.
- Monitor shipments, revenue recognition, and cost allocations to ensure accurate profitability tracking and analysis.
- Ensure all actuals are correctly recorded in the books of accounts, aligning with business and statutory requirements.
- Implement robust internal controls and audit mechanisms to safeguard against data manipulation and ensure data integrity.
- Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive MIS dashboards and reports on shipments, collections, profitability, and cost structures.
- Drive profitability analysis at shipment, vertical, and entity level, highlighting key variances vs budgets/forecasts.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership on margin improvement, shipment performance, and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure timely reporting and data accuracy across all MIS functions.
- Drive accounting discipline across invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure error-free transactions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting standards to mitigate risks.
- Partner with auditors and internal teams for transparent, manipulation-free reporting and to address any audit findings.
- Liaise with Sales, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure seamless visibility of shipments, receivables, and obligations.
The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in finance operations, MIS, and profitability tracking. A strong background in MIS and accounting is essential, along with advanced skills in Excel, data modeling, ERP systems, and MIS dashboards.
