Job Overview

The Senior Clinical Research Manager is a key role in the management of clinical trials and research studies. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop and execute clinical research strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project planning and execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Trial Management
  • Manage relationships with vendors, investigators, and stakeholders to ensure successful trial execution.
  • Oversight recruitment, enrolment, and monitoring of clinical trial subjects.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor research staff to develop their skills and performance.
  • Develop training programs to enhance research capabilities.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Evaluate and prepare regulatory documentation, including IRB applications and clinical trial submissions.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
Study Design & Protocol Development
  • Collaborate with scientific and medical teams to design and develop clinical trial protocols.
  • Evaluate feasibility and risk associated with proposed studies.
Data Management and Reporting
  • Analyze and review clinical trial data to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Present progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field (Master's or higher preferred).
  • 8 to 18 years of experience in clinical research, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
