Job Title: Backend Software Development Leader

This role involves leading the development of complex software applications with high traffic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs to serve all frontend clients.
  • Develop core business logic for platform features, including user authentication, property management (CRUD), search algorithms, and monetization systems.
  • Architect and manage database schema (PostgreSQL) ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, mapping services, messaging APIs, and virtual tour providers.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML team on data pipelines and API endpoints for recommendation engines and automated property valuations.
  • Work with Web3 team to integrate backend services with blockchain platforms for tokenization and cryptocurrency payment gateways.
  • Implement robust security measures in line with international standards.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding best practices.
  • Design and implement service-oriented or microservices-based architecture for long-term growth and feature expansion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Expert proficiency in a modern backend programming language and framework.
  • Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Deep expertise in relational database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
