At Cognizant Healthcare QA team, we're seeking an experienced Senior Tester/Lead to collaborate on creating solutions for the world's leading companies.

As a key member of our team, you will design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing. You will also develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 4-10 years of relevant hands-on experience in Testing field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Playwright development.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL query writing is required.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is must.
  • Knowledge/Hands-on experience in Python development experience is good to have.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with API Automation testing tools liked Rest Assured or any equivalent tool is must.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
  • Test Planning: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects; assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Best Practices: Advocate for automation best practices and maintain test documentation.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.
