Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Senior Consultant Specialist, focusing on the technical design, development, implementation, automation, and maintenance of equities settlement platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Design and Development: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards, including operational risk management and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Automation and Maintenance: Build, release, deploy, configure, and provide production support for systems, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with changing cybersecurity requirements.
  • System Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Resolve issues across the platform and application domains, collaborating with stakeholders on business enhancements and requirements coordination.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on an Equities settlement platform for Back Office functionality of Cash Equities Trading, preferably with Java 8 or above, Spring, Spring Boot, or VertX Technologies.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with hands-on knowledge of Micro-services, REST, Reactive programming paradigm, and Front-end technologies like ReactJs with Redux, AngularJS, etc.
  • Strong background in application support, Structured Query Language (SQL) using Oracle, UNIX Shell scripting, JMS, IBM MQ, Active MQ, and database tech like MSSQL Server or Oracle database.
  • Automation skills and experience with system monitoring tools like Grafana or equivalent, and good working experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process and strong communication experience and skill.
