Job Title: Senior Trade Settlement Manager

As a Senior Trade Settlement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of daily settlements and funding. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade settlement processes, including trade capture, blotter reconciliations, and exception resolution. They will also have excellent logical and quantitative abilities, as well as strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse client personnel and management teams.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily settlements and funding through adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Research and resolve problems relating to specific P&S transactions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes.
  • Compare open trade breaks and ensure items are tracked and actioned.
  • Reconcile securities out of balances and process adjusting entries.
  • Interact with external clients on trade capture related queries.
  • Match trades with broker dealer counterparts.
  • Monitor RTTM/GSCC (Advisories, exceptions, mismatches, and reversals).
  • Monitor Obligation Warehouse.
  • Monitor Euroclear to ensure matching of all Euroclear settlement items.
  • Resolve CNS exceptions and blotter issues.
  • Work with settlements team to monitor and resolve trade breaks and fails.
Requirements:
  • Graduation in Commerce, Business Administration, or Computer Applications.
  • Post-graduation in Commerce, Business Administration, or Management.
  • 2 to 9 years of experience in handling teams of at least 10 members, with good knowledge of trade settlements and OTC derivatives.
  • Strong logical and quantitative abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse client personnel and management teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage and complete specific tasks with minimal direction.
  • Ability to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands.
  • Excellent communication skills to network and earn confidence of diverse client personnel.
