Job Title: Airport Fire Services Manager

A key position in airport operations, the Chief Fire Technician Incharge oversees the Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at airports in India. With extensive experience in the airports industry, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.

About the Role:

The Airport Fire Services Manager is responsible for leading the Crash Fire Tender team to ensure round-the-clock readiness and emergency response. This involves developing and implementing ARFF operational procedures that meet local and international aviation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective ARFF operational procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness
  • Coordinate with airport authorities and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid
  • Maintain readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems
  • Analyze incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to ARFF services
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance during simulated emergencies
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold fire safety and emergency preparedness standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention
