Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced SAP Financial Consultant to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FI modules, hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations, support, and enhancements, and a solid understanding of integration with CO, MM, and SD.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead and deliver SAP FI solutions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
    2. Work on end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
    3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
    4. Configure SAP FI modules and ensure seamless integration with CO, MM, and SD.
    5. Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and provide production support.
    6. Conduct system testing, UAT, and user training.
    7. Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement best practices.
    8. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 7+ years of SAP FI experience with at least 2–3 full life cycle implementations.
  • Strong expertise in FI sub-modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.
  • Good knowledge of integration points between FI and other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD).
  • Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, IFRS/GAAP compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for Finance.
  • Knowledge of Treasury, Cash Management, and New Asset Accounting.
  • SAP FI Certification.
