Our organization is seeking a Service Technician to provide high-quality technical support for computer systems and large format printing solutions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment. A good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
  • Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
  • Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams and colleagues for complex troubleshooting.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
  • Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs.
  • Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field. The position involves frequent travel within the Coimbatore & Tirupur region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.)
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
  • Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
