Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory and legal requirements across various jurisdictions.

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and enforcing compliance with relevant laws and regulations, conducting internal audits and risk assessments, and developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.

You will also be responsible for providing advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders, as well as assisting senior legal counsel and the legal team in preparing legal opinions and reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies
  • Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters
  • Assist senior legal counsel and the legal team
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior legal counsel, other departments, and external stakeholders.

  • Essential Skills:
  • LLB or equivalent degree
  • 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
