Job Summary

This is a Business Analyst role that involves managing Management Information Systems (MIS), generating business insights through data analysis, and monitoring performance metrics across functions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing periodic reports, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting management in strategic and operational decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  • MIS Reporting: Develop, maintain, and automate MIS reports to provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Consolidate financial, operational, and business data into dashboards and presentations to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and timeliness of all MIS deliverables.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal systems and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Perform trend, variance, and root cause analysis on key business KPIs to inform business decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights to management to drive business growth, cost control, and efficiency improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track business performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and maintain performance scorecards and dashboards to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and performance gaps proactively to support management in making informed decisions.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Suggest and implement automation opportunities using Excel, Power BI, or other tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Standardize templates, processes, and reports to ensure consistency and ease of use.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) with a preference for Power BI.
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
  • Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to management.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in MIS, business analysis, or data analytics with a preference for financial services / investments / payments.
